Merseyside weather update Thursday, 16 February, plus five-day forecast: yellow weather warning

The yellow weather warning for wind due to Storm Dudley remains in place on Thursday but the gusts will start to die down from around 10am.

Towards the end of the week, we're seeing light rain across the region, with an 83% chance of showers in Birkenhead. Temperatures reaching highs of 9°C.

As we move toward the weekend, light to moderate showers are expected with a 78% chance of rain in Southport. It's looking overcast in St Helens. Temperatures reaching 12°C.

And looking at the five day forecast now, it's a fairly damp picture overall unfortunately. It isn't feeling too chilly however, highs of 11°C at best otherwise highs of 7°C.

By Monday there could be some sunshine but also some patchy shower with temperatures reaching highs of 9°C.
