New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Liverpool’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Community Shop, at 207 - 211 Walton Road, Liverpool was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 25.

And CAFE VANILLA L4, at 249 County Road, Liverpool was given a score of three on April 25.

It means that of Liverpool's 966 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 600 (62%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
