No, seriously, the show includes circus skills and stunts performed by cast members who have been training for six months to master several skills, including aerial skills and hoops. That runs until 9 January.

Mozart and Vivaldi, as you've never seen before at Sefton Park Palm House. Candlelight Concerts is a musical ode to nature at this unique and exotic location, with plants and wildlife from five continents. The grade two listed building will be filled with candlelight and heavenly music. You don't need to know all things Vivaldi and Mozart to enjoy the evening though you're sure to be familiar with some of the music. That is taking place on Wednesday 12 January.

Beauty And The Beast - The Epstein Theatre

If you're not ready to let go of the Christmas spirit, then there is still a chance to catch Beauty And The Beast at The Epstein Theatre in Liverpool. This is the timeless story of Belle, a beautiful young woman who falls in love with the most unexpected of princes, who has been cursed to look like a hideous beast. Star of The Bill and Footballers Wives Ben Richards leads the cast as Gaston. The pantomime is the first live performance in the city centre venue since it closed its doors in March 2020 as part of the Government national Covid-19 lockdown. The show runs until Sunday, 9 January.
