📰 The 97th victim of the Hillsborough Disaster, Andrew Devine, will be posthumously awarded Freedom of Wirral at a special meeting of the Council on 21 March.

Andrew passed away last year due to complications from life-changing injuries he received at the Hillsborough disaster.

📰 Police investigating the death of a man during storm Eunice have released a photograph of a piece of metal which is believed to have stuck the vehicle he was travelling in.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the incident in Netherton on Friday 18th February. Sixty eight-year-old Stephen Matthews, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sadly passed away.

📰 Derek Twigg, Labour MP for Halton, branded Vladimir Putin a 'tyrant' and quizzed the Secretary of State for Defence about the level of information which was being put into the public domain during a debate on Ukraine in the House of Commons.
