Dogs Trust Merseyside are hoping to find foster parents or forever homes for the gorgeous dogs in their care.
Due to the cost of living crisis, the charity has reported that more and more pups are being given to their rescue centre, as owners can no longer afford to care for them.
Sparky is around six years old and is looking for a home where he is the only pet and any children are of high school age. He is a lovely Greyhound and will walk with other large dogs but cannot live with them.
6. Coda
Coda is a gentle four year old Frenchie who has had a tough year and would love to find stability with a new family that will go easy with him, as he has sore skin. He doesn’t enjoy spending time by himself as he’s a real lap dog who likes to get on to your knee and seeks affection.
7. Juno
Juno is a very friendly Lurcher with a lot of energy. She is looking for a home on her own or with another friendly dog who is around the same size as her. Children will need to be over the age of 12 and quite confident as she is a very excitable/bouncy girl. Dogs Trust have no past history on Juno due to her being a stray, so are unsure if she is fully house trained and may need low leaving hours when settling in.
8. Angel
Angel is an American Bulldog who needs a home with no other pets or children. She is quite shy but enjoys bonding over tasty treats.
