Handful of homes listed for sale in Merseyside village named among poshest places to live in Britain

Hightown, in Sefton, has been named as one of Britain’s 54 poshest villages.

The coastal community is one of the most desirable places to live in the country, according to new research published in The Telegraph.

Home to the Blundellsands Sailing Club and connected to Liverpool by the Northern Line of the Merseyrail network, the area has a mixture of character properties and newer builds.

However, homes for sale in the village are few and far between. At the time of writing, just four are listed by leading UK property website Right Move.
