Liverpool easyJet flight to Tenerife makes priority landing due to disruptive passengers

The passengers were met by police and deported back to the UK.

An easyJet flight from Liverpool was met by police after a number of passengers became disruptive during the flight.

The disruption occurred on Saturday, onboard flight EZY3365 which was travelling from Liverpool to Tenerife, and had to make a priority landing.

The flight crew requested a police presence and officers boarded the plane before anyone disembarked. The problem passengers were taken into custody and deported back to the UK on the next available flight.

A spokesperson for easyJet told LiverpoolWorld: “easyJet can confirm that flight EZY3365 from Liverpool to Tenerife on 22 April was met by police due to two passengers behaving disruptively onboard.

“easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.

“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard. The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet’s priority.”
