Best kebab shop in Liverpool? Takeaway reaches final of British Kebab Awards again

A Liverpool kebab shop will be looking to retain its title as the best takeaway outside of London after being nominated once more by the British Kebab Awards.

The local late night favourite Botan Kebab House, on Berry Street, won the ‘Best Takeaway Regional’ category of the awards in 2021, and this year they have reached the finals once more.

The shop is a local favourite and has a strong rating of 4.6 stars on Google: impressive in a market where the expectations of ravenous or tipsy customers can be demanding.

After winning last year, owner Sami Tungal said he was ‘in shock’ at claiming the award.

Hopefully they can do the city proud and win once more, yet they will face a tough challenge as one of the 11 nominated for the category.
