Merseyside business scammed out of millions, reduced service on trains, Strawberry Supermoon visible.

🚨 An accountant who conned a family-run Merseyside business out of a staggering £6.7 million has been ordered to pay back just £69,000.

James Hall, 49, initially claimed the mammoth transactions he made to his own bank to fund his gambling addiction were loans from the director of Knowsley firm Vale UK.

🚉 There is reduced service on Merseyrail this week as the operator announced an "unexpected" increase in wear on train wheel bearings.

In parts the service is every 30 minutes, rail replacement buses are also being used. The managing director has issued an apology to commuters.

🌕 This week, we are expected to enjoy the sight of the second supermoon of 2022 as it lights up the night sky over Merseyside.

The Strawberry Supermoon is expected to reach its peak at at 12:51pm on Tuesday, June 14, but will appear full fro a few days.
