Visitors to Liverpool ONE can expect a unique experience this summer as the newest member of the customer service team will be a ‘digital human’. The AI-generated robot named Liv looks like a real person, donning a name badge and uniform and has been designed to interact with visitors in real-time.
Liv was created by leading innovator in AI technology, Sum Vivas, and has been designed to interact with visitors in real-time. Providing instant information - such as directions, store information and answer frequently asked questions.

Hide AdAccording to Sum Vivas’ website, the Liverpool-based company provides businesses with ‘the ability to create highly realistic Digital Humans or Digital Doubles of specific individuals’ which ‘come with personalities and interactivity’.
Based at the official Tourist Information Centre in Liverpool ONE, Liv has been engineered with machine learning abilities and will support a brand new - real life - Guest Services team for an initial pilot period.
