RSPCA: 9 pets looking for a forever home in Liverpool and Merseyside this Christmas - cats, dogs and rabbits
Pets are for life, not just for Christmas.
The RSPCA are hoping to find forever homes for the gorgeous animals in their care. Due to the cost of living crisis, many owners are taking their pets to rescue centres, as they can no longer afford to care for them.
From dogs to rabbits, there are many animals looking for a new family, at local RSPCA centres in Merseyside and Cheshire.

5. Murphy
Murphy is eight-years-old and was left on his own after his owner sadly passed away. He would love a home with children and could even live with another cat or dog.

6. Lass
Lass is a crossbreed who is around one year old. Lass is best suited to a pet free household with children 14+.

7. Blue
Blue is a friendly male cat, he’s black and white and one year old. Blue has previously lived with cats and so should be able to live with other cats. He loves lots of strokes and treats.

8. Rocco
Rocco is a big dog with a big heart and he has been affectionately nicknamed the BFG. He would prefer to have people in the house with him during the day and would prefer an adult only home.
