All adults will be able to get a COVID-19 booster jab this month, with the army and extra NHS staff being deployed to help vaccinate more than a million people every day.

It comes as the Prime Minister said the country is "facing an emergency" in the fight against Omicron as a "tidal wave" of cases is coming.

It comes as some people have now been admitted to hospital with the Omicron variant. The new variant is believed to cause less severe illness, but data suggests it is highly infectious.

Ministers are concerned cases could reach one million a day by the end of December, causing immense pressure on the NHS. Are you worried about Omicron, and will you be getting the booster jab?
