Merseyside weather forecast: Heavy rain changing to cloudy in afternoon

As we move towards the middle of the week, we're likely to see light rain across the region, except for St Helens, which looks overcast but dry.

Temperatures sitting around 8°C or 9°C.

At the back end of the week, we're seeing those temperatures dropping slightly to highs of just 5°C degrees in places. There's a chance it could be wet, and it's looking partly cloudy across the region.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, temperatures are staying relatively constant, remaining around 8 °C.

There's a chance of showers throughout the week, and it's looking mainly overcast towards Friday.

It's a similar picture as we move into the weekend. There's a 30% chance of heavy rain on Saturday, and we're seeing light showers on Sunday.
