Merseyside weather forecast: Heavy rain, clearing in the evening

As we move into the weekend, we'll likely see light showers across the region, with a 73% chance of rain in Birkenhead. Temperatures reach highs of 9°C.

At the back end of the weekend, it is a bit of a mixed bag; it looks overcast for the region; however, whilst there's an 80% chance of rain over Southport, it seems like it'll be staying dry in Chester.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, we're seeing light rain and clouds across the region.

It's looking overcast, and some showers are expected.

However, as we move into the middle of next week, we could see an end to that wet weather. Temperatures are starting to warm up again, hitting highs of 12°C on Wednesday.
