Merseyside weather forecast: sunshine over the weekend but temperatures will drop

Towards the end of the week, its looking mostly dry albeit it overcast across the majority of the region. There is however a chance of rain over Birkenhead and Southport. Temperatures sitting at 14°C.

As we move into the weekend, it's a wetter picture and we could see some patchy rain. It's looking particularly overcast in Chester. Temperatures getting slight cooler, with highs of 12°C.

And looking at the five day forecast now, some patchy light rain as we go into the weekend.

However as we move into next week things are clearing up and we could even see some sunshine. Temperatures are starting to drop though starting off at a mild 14°C and dropping down to 8°C on Tuesday.
