Merseyside weather forecast: sunshine over the weekend but temperatures will drop

As we move into the weekend, it's likely we'll see patchy showers across the region, with a 41% chance of rain in Birkenhead. it's looking partly cloudy over Chester. Temperatures sitting at 12°C.

At the back end of the weekend, it looks like we could be seeing patchy rain across the region. It is however looking Sunny in Liverpool, Southport and St Helens. Temperatures are a cool 8°C though.

And looking at the five day forecast now, it may be turning brighter but it will feel much colder on Sunday and Monday with isolated showers and overnight frosts.

Rather cloudy on Tuesday with temperatures staying around 8°C.

Temperatures are starting to cool off, and will remain in single figures.
