Merseyside weather forecast: Temperatures rise but it’s going to be a wet day

As we start, the week temperatures are warmer than they have been over the weekend - rising to 11°C in some places.
There's a chance of rain across the region apart from Birkenhead, where it looks overcast but dry.

Hide AdAs we move towards the middle of the week, it's a wet picture across the region with a 74% chance of rain in Liverpool.
Temperatures are expected to sit around 8°C.
And looking at the five-day forecast now, after temperatures warm at the beginning of the week, things are cooling back down again into single figures - reaching highs of 8°C by Saturday.
Unfortunately, there's more wet weather yet to come, with patchy light rain forecast for the first half of the week before it turns to heavy showers by Saturday.
