Merseyside weather update Thursday, 13 January, plus five-day forecast: Bright and clear

Towards the end of the week, it's a dry picture for the region with plenty of winter sunshine expected. Temperatures hitting double figures apart from in Southport where it's reaching highs of 9°C.

As we move toward the weekend, that sunshine continues and it looks like it will be staying dry. Temperatures dropping slightly so it will feel cooler reaching highs of 8°C.

And looking at the five day forecast now, and we are expecting it to stay dry, although there will be some clouds at the start of the weekend before that winter sunshine comes out again. Temperatures vary but it's not looking too chilly with lows of 7°C and highs of 11°C.
