Merseyside weather update Thursday, 24 February, plus five-day forecast: Showers turning to cloudy

As we move towards the latter part of the week, it's sunny in Liverpool and Chester. Elsewhere there's light sleet expected. Temperatures reaching highs of 7°C.

As we make our way into the weekend, there's patchy rain forecast with a 76% chance of showers over Birkenhead. Highs of 9°C, apart from Southport where it's reaching 8°C.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, it's a sunny start before we see some patchy rain followed by lots of grey skies.

It is a really overcast picture for us here in the region; however, it looks like it will stay dry over the weekend. By Monday, it's still looking cloudy with highs of 9°C.
