Merseyside weather update Tuesday, 1 March, plus five-day forecast: Sunny changing to cloudy

It's looking overcast at the start of the week for some of the region with sunshine in Southport and St Helens. Temperatures sitting between 8°C and 9°C.

As we move towards the middle of the week, there's rain in the region, with a 73% chance of drizzle in Birkenhead. It is staying dry but overcast in Chester. Highs of 8°C.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, there are plenty of clouds around. We could see some moderate showers at the back end of the working week. It could be another pleasant weekend for us with some winter sunshine. It looks dry, albeit cloudy, by Saturday, with highs of 8°C.
