Merseyside weather update Tuesday, 15 February, plus five-day forecast: Heavy rain changing to cloudy

It’s going to be a very wet sart to the day with heavy rain across the region.
And there's a chance we could see showers continue at the start of the week with a 76% chance of patchy rain in Southport. Temperatures sitting between 10°C and 12°C.

Hide AdAs we move towards the middle of the week, it's staying dry in Birkenhead and Chester. Elsewhere it's looking overcast with a chance of showers. Temperatures reaching highs of 12°C.
And looking at the five day forecast now, there is lots of cloud around caused, in part by Storm Dudley. The chance of rain does start to diminish as the working week goes on. Temperatures not looking too chilly.
By Saturday there's a chance of patchy showers and temperatures staying in double figures with highs of around 10°C.
