Merseyside weather update Tuesday, 22 February, plus five-day forecast: Heavy rain changing to sunny

We will see some rain at the start of the week, with a 90% chance of a downpour in Liverpool and a 62% chance of patchy rain in Southport. Temperatures reaching highs of 10 °C across the board.

As we move towards the middle of the week, it's staying dry in Birkenhead and Chester. Elsewhere it's looking overcast with a chance of showers. Temperatures reaching highs of 11°C.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, Patchy rain is expected, but we could also be seeing some winter sunshine, too, definitely feeling a lot more pleasant than it has been with those storms bringing strong winds.

By Saturday, it's staying dry, albeit partly cloudy with highs of 9°C.
