Merseyside weather update Tuesday, 8 March, plus five-day forecast: Sunny changing to cloudy

It's looking a sunny start to Tuesday before the cloud rolls in and it turns overcast but it will be staying dry. Temperatures sitting between 9°C and 10°C.

As we move towards the middle of the week, there's a chance of rain in the region with a 43% chance of showers over St Helens where we're seeing highs of 12°C. 11°C elsewhere.

And looking at the five day forecast now, there's plenty of cloud around. A small chance of some showers but we could also being seeing sunshine at the latter part of the working week.

It is starting to feel warmer for us too with temperatures climbing into double figures. By Saturday it looks dry, albeit cloudy, with highs of 13°C.
