Merseyside weather update Wednesday, 19 January, plus five-day forecast: Light rain then sunny

As we move towards the middle of the week, we could be seeing some wet weather. There's a 54% chance of showers over Southport. Temperatures vary between 9°C and 11°C.

Looking at the back end of the working week now, It's a dry picture with plenty of winter sunshine across the region. Temperatures are feeling somewhat chilly, though, reaching highs of 6°C.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, There is a chance of some showers, and it could be a tad overcast before that very pleasant, albeit slightly chilly, weather returns. However, it's a dry and sunny outlook for the weekend with highs of 8 °C, so sunglasses and scarfs are very much on the menu.
