Merseyside weather update Wednesday, 2 March, plus five-day forecast: Light rain changing to overcast

As we move towards the middle of the week, there is a chance of some light to moderate showers with a 64% chance of rain in Birkenhead and Southport. Temperatures reaching highs of 7°C.

Looking at the latter part of the working week now and it's an overcast picture for us here in the region with lots of clouds around. Temperatures reaching highs of 11°C.

And looking at the five day forecast, there could be some light rain, with the chance of those showers increasing as the week goes on.

However, as we go into the weekend it looks like it will be brightening up and that rain will go away, though it will remain overcast. By Sunday it's looking cloudy but dry with highs of 7°C.
