Merseyside weather update Wednesday, 9 March, plus five-day forecast: cloudy changing to sunny intervals

As we move towards the middle of the week, it's a cloudy picture across the region with some capacity for showers. Temperatures reaching highs of 12°C.

Looking at the latter part of the working week now and there's patchy rain forecast, with an 84% chance of drizzle in Birkenhead. Temperatures reaching highs of 14°C.

And looking at the five day forecast now, cloudy with a chance of rain throughout the week. As we go into the weekend we could see some sunshine.

Things are certainly starting to feel a lot more like spring with temperatures getting up to highs of 14°C. By Sunday it looks like there could be some drizzle with highs of 11°C.
