Merseyside weather update Tuesday, 21 December, plus five-day forecast: cloudy and cold

The cloudy and cold start to the week continues on Tuesday with temperatures not expected to reach higher than 4°C, but a least it is dry.

It will be much the same on Wednesday except we have the added bonus of some light showers as we head into the evening.

And looking at the five day forecast now, there are some clouds in the sky to begin with but those will clear for some sporadic winter sunshine. Temperatures briefly climb into double figures on Thursday before dropping right down and continuing to do so into the weekend.
