A survey has revealed what Liverpool residents want most from life and how they’d like to spend any money saved during the pandemic.

Research shows that people in Liverpool have saved an average of £2,500 during the pandemic and intend to spend it on retiring early and travelling the world.

The data, complied by 888 Casino, details saving habits and spending buckets lists of 1,004 people across the UK.

Top five bucket list goals for Liverpool residents in 2021

1. Retire early and travel the world (23%)

2. See the Northern Lights (21%)

3. Buy your dream home (19%)

4. Fall in love (17%)

5. Start a dream business (15%)

When the 53 Liverpool residents who participated in the survey were asked what they most want from life in the next five years, nearly half said they wanted to travel more 49% (26).

A total of 47% (25) wanted to save more money and 45% (24) wanted to see friends and family more.

When asked about their bucket list dreams 23% (12) said they wanted to retire early, a total of 21% (11) said they wanted to see the Northern Lights.

Buying their dream home came in third at 19% (10) and 17% (9) said they wanted to fall in love.

A total of 15% (8) wanted to start a dream business.

People in Liverpool saved over £214 more than UK average in the last 12 months.
