The touchpaper has yet to be lit on Everton’s summer transfer window activity.
The Toffees’ retained list has been submitted, of course, with senior players Fabian Delph, Jonjoe Kenny, Cenk Tosun and Gylfi Sigurdsson departing.
But apart from that, things have been fairly quiet at Goodison Park.
Well, in terms of tangible business conducted, anyway.
James Tarkowski is expected to be announced as an Everton player once his Burnley contract officially expires.
But there have been a swathe of names linked with a move to Frank Lampard’s side.
There have also been several players who remain under contract at Everton who reportedly have caught admiring glances.
