Everton are reportedly interested in a January move for attacking midfielder Guus Til.

But the Toffees will face interest from a number of Premier League clubs for his services.

Who is Guus Til?

Til came through the ranks at Dutch side AZ Alkmaar where he hit 28 goals in 96 matches.

That earned him an €18 million move to Spartak Moscow in the summer of 2019.

However, Til has struggled to make an impact at the Russian outfit. He managed only two goals in 21 games during his maiden campaign.

He was then shipped off to SC Freiburg on loan for the 2020-21 season yet made only seven first-team appearances.

This time around, however, Til has got his career back on track. He's currently on loan at Feyenoord and has been in scintillating form, scoring 15 times in 26 appearances.

The 23-year-old, who was born in Zambia, has also been capped four times for Holland, scoring one goal.

What's been said

According to TEAMtalk, Spartak have the option to recall Til from Feyenoord in January and could look to cash in.

Everton are claimed to be one side monitoring his situation.

However, top-flight rivals West Ham, Wolves, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Brentford, Brighton and Watford have all been credited with interest.

Where would Guus Til fit in at Everton?

Til has primarily operated in the number-10 role for Feyenoord this season.

That's a position that Rafa Benitez is currently short of at Everton.

Following the departure of James Rodriguez, there is no natural attacking-midfielder in the squad.

The Toffees have lacked someone to provide the conduit between the midfield and attack and dictate the play.

That's an area Benitez may look to strengthen when the window opens next month. Manchester United duo Donny van de Beek and Jesse Lingard have previously been linked.
