Hide AdDominic Calvert-Lewin has yet to feature for Everton this term, having suffered a knee injury before the curtain-raiser against Chelsea.
But after training for the past one-and-a-half weeks, with last weekend’s clash against Arsenal postponed, the striker is set to be in the squad against the Hammers - but he may not start.
Everton boss Lampard said: “Close. We’ll see come Sunday whether he’s ready to start. We have to be careful with him.”
Meanwhile, Abdoulaye Doucoure is also back available after a hamstring injury.
“Doucs is fit to be in the squad,” said Lampard.

Hide AdJordan Pickford (thigh) has already been ruled out while Mason Holgate (knee) and Yerry Mina (ankle) remain on the sidelines.
Lampard said: “Yerry won’t be fit until a few weeks after we come back after the international break, similar to Mason. They won’t be immediately after the break.”
On Pickford, Lampard said: “It’s a really big loss because we know how good he is.
“We are fortunate to have a very strong No.2 in Asmir Begovic at the club. He’s a No.1 for me in terms of his performance levels.
“We just hope Jordan gets back the other end of the international break.”
Ben Godfrey (fractured leg) and Andros Townsend (ACL) are long-term absentees.
