Hide AdMina’s selection for Colombia comes after he’s only just returned to full fitness.
The former Barcelona man has endured an injury-ravaged season so far, having made just eight appearances for the Toffees.
Mina was absent a significant period after suffering a hamstring injury following his return from international duty in October.
Then after coming back into the starting line-up against Arsenal on December 6, he sustained a calf issue that sidelined him for more than a month.

Hide AdMina made his latest return to action in last weekend’s 2-1 loss at Norwich City.
Duncan Ferguson, who’s holding the reins at Goodison Park in a caretaker capacity after Rafa Benitez was sacked, will surely be looking to start Mina for the visit of Aston Villa on Saturday.
However, Evertonians will now no doubt have their fingers crossed Mina doesn’t pick up another setback while away with Colombia.
They have World Cup qualifying games against Peru (28 January) and Argentina (1 February).
