Leeds are one place and four points above but Everton can narrow the gap with a victory - and have a game in hand.
Frank Lampard's first top-flight game as Blues boss ended in a disappointing 3-1 loss at Newcastle United earlier this week.
But after defeating Brentford 4-1 in the FA Cup last weekend, he'll be demanding a similar sort of performance.
