Rafa Benitez’s time as Everton manager has come to an end.
The Spaniard was sacked after the Toffees’ 2-1 defeat to Norwich City on Saturday.
Benitez’s reign at Goodison Park will be one supporters want to swiftly forget. He lasted just six-and-a-half months.
Now the search is on to find a new boss to take over in the driving seat.
Whoever succeeds Benitez will be tasked with what every fan dreams of - ending the wait for a trophy.
Not since 1995 have Everton won a piece of silverware.
In the past 30 years, there have been a total of 12 permanent Blues managers.
Here’s how Benitez ranks among them on win percentage.
1. Mike Walker - 17.19%

2. Howard Kendall - 26.2%
The Goodison Park icon’s third reign as manager which lasted between June 1997-June 1998 didn’t go too well.

3. Frank Lampard - 27.91
The current Everton boss has had a tough time in just under a year at the helm. While he kept the Toffees in the Premier League in 2022-23, the Blues have made a tough stat
4. Rafa Benitez - 31.82%
The Spaniard made a barnstorming start on Merseyside. After being appointed last summer he ensure Everton won five of his first eight games.
However, the honeymoon period swiftly came to an end for Benitez. After beating Norwich 2-0 on September 25, the Blues would triumph in just two of their subsequent 14 games.
