It's been somewhat of a strange season so far for Everton.

The early impetus built by Rafa Benitez' side has quickly been sapped away.

Despite being level on points with Manchester City and Manchester United at the start of October, the Toffees are now in 11th spot in the Premier League during the international break.

DCL on top

Calvert-Lewin has been badly missed since the third game of the season after suffering a quad injury. Every fan knows it and the numbers back up that theory.

It'll be no surprise that Doucoure, currently absent with a foot problem, is second with a rating of 7.30. The Frenchman has recorded two goals and four assists to date.

In third is summer signing Andros Townsend. He's been raved about since his arrival on a free transfer and has an average rating of 7.68.

Gordon surprise

At the other end of the table, it might be a surprise that Anthony Gordon has been given such a low mark.

The winger has been highly impressive this term yet has a modest average match rating of 6.32.
