Everton’s expected starting line-up vs Leeds United - with four changes, new formation and debuts predicted
Everton welcome Leeds United to Goodison Park.
Frank Lampard bids for his first victory as Everton manager against Leeds United on Saturday.
Lampard got off to a fine start in the Goodison Park hot seat with a 4-1 FA Cup victory over Brentford last weekend.
But his honeymood period soon came to an end after the Toffees lost 3-1 to Newcastle earlier this week.
Lampard certainly has a job on his hands, with Everton winning just one of their past 15 league games.
They’re 16th in the table and teeter over the relegation zone, with Leeds once place and four points above.
To make matters worse, the Blues have seven players sidelined for the visit of Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
They include key men such as Yerry Mina, who’s absent for up to 10 weeks, Demarai Gray, Ben Godfrey, Abdoulaye Doucoure and January signing Vitaliy Mykolenko.
Lampard has to come up with the solutions to ensure Everton deliver three points.
He will be forced into at least two changes from Newcastle but there could be more.
And having used a 3-4-3 system, he could also switch to a different formation.
