Having taken over the Goodison Park driving seat last week, the recently-appointed manager got off to the perfect start.
Lampard masterminded a stylist 4-1 victory over Brentford in the FA Cup fourth round.
Now the Chelsea legend is tasked with ensuring Everton climb the Premier League table, having plummeted to 16th.
They face a Newcastle side who sit 19th but can move within a point of the Blues with a win.
Lampard has several decisions to make when it comes to naming his starting XI.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back from injury while deadline-day signings Dele Alli and Donny van de Beeck are available after being cup-tied against Brentford.
