Everton have been busy this transfer window with three signings already through the door at Goodison Park.
Anwar El-Ghazi swapped Aston Villa for a loan move to Merseyside, with Lucas Digne moving the other way.
With Everton’s manager hunt ongoing and down to the final three of transfer window, we take a look at five players who are still tipped for a move to the Toffees.
Dele Alli- 7/2
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has been starved of first-team minutes under Antonio Conte and seems a completely different player from the one that almost won the title in 2016.
Still only 25, Alli fits the profile that Everton are looking for perfectly. Capable of playing in the middle or further forward as a number 10, the former MK Dons man could be the perfect signing for the Toffees.
With 91 career goals to his name, Alli’s chances of being involved in the World Cup later this year will be increased if he seals a move. With Everton set to rival Newcastle United for his signature, it could be a tasty last few days of the window involving Alli.
Donny van de Beek- 8/1
Another midfielder able to play behind the striker, Donny van de Beek’s time at Manchester United hasn’t gone to plan for the former Ajax man at all.
Since leaving his home nation for Manchester, the 24-year-old has made 50 appearances but has averaged only 36 minutes per game, as he’s mainly been utilised off the bench for United.
The Dutch international has reportedly been keen to leave Ralf Rangnick’s side on loan, with Crystal Palace and Valencia interested, but a move to Goodison Park could come to fruition if the Toffees’ new manager decides so.
Ross Barkley- 3/1
When Ross Barkley left Everton for Chelsea for £15 million in January 2018, not many would have expected the midfielder to be linked with a return to his boyhood club.
Barkley, 24, has only made 79 appearances for Chelsea and looked like he had got his career back on track with a loan spell at Aston Villa last season, but he has only made 12 appearances in all competitions this season.
After working with Frank Lampard at Chelsea, if the former England international is appointed as Rafa Benitez’s replacement, Lampard could choose to dip into the loan market to bring the Liverpool-born man back to Merseyside.
Jesse Lingard- 12/1
Yes, another attacking midfielder. The most important position for Everton to improve and it has been shown by the players they are linked with.
Lingard’s contract at Manchester United expires at the end of the season but rumours have circled around the England international for a move this transfer window.
After impressing for West Ham last season following a January loan, Lingard looked set to move to the London Stadium last summer but opted to stay at United. He’s only made 14 appearances across all competitions and now has options to choose from.
Everton have been linked with the 29-year-old and it’s a move that could provide Lingard with a chance to reignite his career ahead of the World Cup, like Alli.
Brennan Johnson- 20/1
Now this one is a long shot but it is certainly one worth talking about. The 20-year-old winger has developed into one of the best wingers in the Championship with Nottingham Forest this season, scoring seven and assisting five.
Premier League rivals Brentford have a couple of bids turned down by the Midlands side, but with Forest’s promotion chances lying outside the play-offs at the moment, a bid too good to refuse could force Steve Cooper to accept their losses.
Johnson was primarily linked with Everton at the start of the window and whilst the talks have gone quiet, with the attacker’s performances in recent games with five goals in seven games, a late bid could come in and add quality out wide at Goodison Park.
