Van de Beek, Calvert-Lewin, Delph, Godfrey - Everton injury latest after Man City loss
and live on Freeview channel 276
Everton’s relegation woes continued as they suffered a 1-0 loss to Manchester City on Saturday.
The Toffees are left teetering just one place and one point above the Premier League drop zone - but could rightly feel aggrieved at the full-time whistle.

In the 85th minute, Rodri handled inside the City box and the incident went to a VAR review. However, no spot-kick was given.
Lampard was understandably fuming and slammed VAR referee Chris Kavanagh during his post-match press conference.
There were some positives for Everton, though. Abdoulaye Doucoure returned from a groin injury and was magnificent in midfield.

But the Blues did suffer two more setbacks before and during the game.
Here is the latest on the injury situation at Goodison.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
What happened
The striker has picked up another frustrating issue.
Calvert-Lewin was absent against City after suffering a groin injury.
He’s made only eight appearances in all competitions since this season, having previously been sidelined for four months with a quad problem.

Hide AdLampard revealed before kick-off that he expects Calvert-Lewin to be unavailable for the next 7-10 days.
That means he’ll definitely miss the FA Cup fifth-round tie against non-league Boreham Wood on Thursday. It’s likely he wouldn’t have played anyway.
The England international may also be doubtful for next Monday’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur depending on how quickly he recovers.
Potential return game: Tottenham (A), Monday 7 March or Wolves (H), Sunday 13 March.
Donny van de Beek

Hide AdVan de Beek limped off in the second half against Pep Guardiola’s men.
The on-loan Manchester United loanee was superb throughout and he suffered his setback when making one of many important challenges.
What’s been said
Lampard was hopeful that van de Beek’s injury isn’t too serious.
He said: “We hope it’s cramp. That’s what we hope.
“I don’t want to completely commit to that but he said it didn’t feel so bad.

“We just hope it’s not worse than that.”
It’s likely that van de Beek would have been rested for the Boreham Wood game regardless of his issue.
Potential return game: Tottenham (A), Monday 7.
Ben Godfrey
What happened?
The defender suffered a hamstring injury in the 4-1 FA Cup fourth round defeat of Brentford earlier this month.
He’s missed the past four games as a result.
What’s been said
Godfrey is back in light training on the grass.
Lampard admitted that Godfrey is still a couple of weeks away speaking on Friday.

Potential return game: Newcastle (H), Thursday 17 March.
Fabian Delph
What happened?
The midfielder has a thigh issue and hasn’t played for Everton since the 3-1 loss at Crystal Palace on 12 December.
Delph has been restricted to only six outings this season.
What’s been said
Speaking on 11 Feburary, Lampard revealed that Delph was only a few weeks away from returning.
“Fabian Delph’s not ready yet, he’s hopefully a couple of weeks away, making good progress," said Lampard.

Yerry Mina
What happened
The centre-back suffered a quad injury in the loss at Newcastle United.
He’s set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
What’s been said
Speaking on February 17, Lampard revealed Mina did not require an operation but would need plenty of time to recovery.
He said:“He didn’t (need surgery) – we hope that remains the case, so we’re working on the injury now.

“I think it’s really important we focus on this one to get it right.
“It won’t be surgery, but it will be a lot of work behind the scenes. Obviously, it’s also quite a long injury so Yerry will need some time mentally to have a breather at times.
“We’ll do our best to make sure he comes back and hopefully help to prevent further injuries off the back of it.”
