Liverpool turn their attention back to the Premier League when they travel to Brentford on Saturday (17.30 BST).

After cruising into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-0 win at Norwich City on Tuesday, the Reds will be aiming to stay at the top of the table against the Londoners.

It’s the first time in 32 years that the Anfield outfit and the Bees meet.

What’s the team news?

After rotating his squad at Norwich, Jurgen Klopp will be at full strength against the Bees.

It means the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk will all come back into the starting XI.

Trent Alexander-Arnold missed the win over Palace due to illness but should be recovered.

James Milner was absent against Norwich due to a cold but he should be OK.

Thiago suffered a calf injury in that game and assistant manager Pep Lijnders has already admitted the midfielder won’t be fit to travel to the capital.

Roberto Firmino has now returned to full training after picking up a hamstring injury against Chelsea last month.
