Heading into this weekend’s Premier League fixtures Liverpool and Manchester City sit atop the fledgling standings and few would bet against them being there at the end of the season.

On Sunday, the deposed champions host the reigning champions at Anfield.

Their have certainly been some memorable tussles in recent years as Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola have fought it out for the title.

After being pipped by one point by City in 2018-19, Liverpool took the title the following year, only for the Cityzens to reclaim it last term.

These games have invariably proved pivotal and ahead of another huge game, LiverpoolWorld’s Will Rooney and ManchesterWorld’s Michael Plant discussed the latest team news and how they think both sides will line-up.
