Liverpool are back in Champions League action when they travel to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.

The Reds have made a perfect start to their Group B campaign despite having a tough draw.

Jurgen Klopp’s men defeated AC Milan 3-2 before thrashing Porto 5-1 last month.

But now Liverpool have what’s considered their toughest game of the group against a well-organised Atletico side.

Here’s all the information you need to know about the game.

What’s the team news?

Liverpool will once again be without midfielder Thiago Alcantara. The Spain international is sidelined with a calf injury and there’s no timeframe on his return.

Curtis Jones missed Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Watford after returning from England under-21 duty with a knock.

He will again be sidelined but the Reds hope he’ll be back for Sunday’s trip to Manchester United.

Alisson and Fabinho were also absent against Watford but have flown to Spain after representing Brazil during the international break.

Could a surprise be sprung?

Virgil van Dijk was rested against AC Milan while Divock Origi came into the team.

However, given the test that Atletico will give the Reds, it’s unlikely anyone will be given a breather.

Alisson will be back in goal, while Fabinho is also set to come back into midfield.

What about the opposition?

Jose Gimenez and Marcos Llorente both reportedly returned to full training on Monday. The pair are in contention to start.

Meanwhile, Matheus Cunha has recovered from a muscle problem.

Predicted line-ups

Porto (4-4-2): Oblak, Savic, Gimenez, Hermoso, Koke, Llorente, Carrasco, De Paul, Lemar, Suarez, Felix.
