Jurgen Klopp has revealed that James Milner and Kostas Tsimikas are highly doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal tomorrow.

Both were on the bench for Saturday’s 2-0 win at Brighton, with Milner coming on as a late substitute in place of Jordan Henderson.

Klopp confirmed that, as things stand, they’ll both be unavailable against Arsenal due to illness.

Ibrahima Konate is back after missing the past two matches with a knock, though.

Klopp said: “Ibou is back. Millie and Kostas [as things] stand in this moment are out. I think that’s it. They are ill.”

Klopp also confirmed that Salah should be fine for the trip to north London after limping off against Brighton.

A win for Liverpool will see them move within one point of Premier League leaders Manchester City, who were held to a goalless stalemate by Crystal Palace last night.

On Salah, Reds boss Klopp said: “Looks like. Mo is a tough cookie.

“We were quite lucky with it. It was swollen, painful. Yesterday, it was a little less swollen and painful.

“Before the press conference, I got a message saying he was ready to train and we will see how that looks.”
