Jurgen Klopp names Liverpool team vs Ajax as triple injury boost confirmed

Jurgen Klopp has named his Liverpool team for tonight’s Champions League clash against Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

The Reds boss makes three changes from the 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest last week.

Darwin Nunez returns to spearhead the attack after injury, replacing Fabio Carvalho.

Jordan Henderson is back to skipper the side, with Curtis Jones dropping to the bench.

And in defence, Trent Alexander-Arnold is back on the right-hand side in place of James Milner.

Meanwhile, Ibou Konate is back on the bench following his muscle injury. There is also a spot among the subs for Calvin Ramsay after his ankle issue.

Thiago Alcantara remains sidelined with an ear infection.

Liverpool need just a point to move into the knockout stage of the Champions League.
