Hide AdBriggs arrives at Anfield having served as Wolfsburg assistant boss for one-and-a-half seasons before Niko Kuvac was sacked in March.
He previously worked at Monaco and spent nine years at Manchester City. Briggs made eye-catching progress at the Etihad Stadium, rising from under-18 performance analyst to senior first-team performance analyst. He previously spent time at EFL clubs Preston North End and Blackpool respectively.
Briggs is the fourth backroom member to join new head coach Slot on Merseyside. The Dutchman is being assisted by his trusted right-hand man Sipke Hulshoff, having won the Eredivisie title and KNVB Cup at Feyenoord. Ruben Peeters, who also worked with Slot in Rotterdam, has become Liverpool’s head physical performance coach while Fabian Otte has been appointed head of first-team goalkeeper coaching.
