Liverpool are back in action on Sunday when they face Tottenham away from home.
The Reds have endured a disastrous start to the season, and already losing ground on those at the top, they might just have to win on Sunday to avoid feeling as though they season is already lost. The Reds can ill-afford to suffer another defeat, especially with Tottenham already 10 points ahead.

But according to Football Insider, Liverpool have been impressed by what Firmino has offered this season, and they are willing to open talks over a new contract. It’s thought Firmino is also keen to stick around for at least another year.

Bellingham boost
Liverpool are said to hold an advantage in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. The Reds have been heavily linked with the England international as they look to revamp their midfield next summer.
Real Madrid have also been linked with Bellingham, but according to Marca, they are not as confident of landing the midfielder as they once were, and that’s because they feel Liverpool are likely to win the race.

Dortmund are not likely to sell Bellingham until next summer, at the earliest, and a deal is not likely to be done for below £100million, given Bellingham’s age and talent.
