With that in mind, the Reds are being tipped to offer up Naby Keita as part of a swap deal to land Barella this summer.

Phillips rejected

Liverpool are said to have moved on from Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips.

Phillips was heavily linked with a move to Anfield, but according to The National, the Reds decided against the £60million deal.

It’s claimed Liverpool felt Phillips would be a stop-gap signing, and for that reason, they decided to move on from the deal.

It’s also added that the Reds decided against pursuing Youri Tielemans and Yves Bissouma this summer.
