Liverpool are enjoying a good week after closing the gap to leaders Manchester City.

Just six points separate the Reds from City, and they will have the chance to reduce that gap to three when they face Leeds United this week.

Suddenly, there is a title race again, and Jurgen Klopp will be pleased with how his men have continued to plug away.

But that doesn’t mean he won’t be planning for the summer, when he will be looking to strengthen his squad, as well as trimming the edges.

With that in mind, here are the latest transfer rumours concerning the Reds.

Bowen interest

Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen.

The Reds could find themselves in need of another winger this summer, with Mo Salah’s contract situation yet to be sorted out.

And according to transfer expert Dean Jones, Liverpool are ‘seriously interested’ in Bowen, who has impressed at West Ham following his move from Hull City.

Klopp has already admitted he likes Bowen as a player, and he is now being tipped to make a move for him in the summer.

Origi latest

Divock Origi is expected to leave Liverpool at the end of his contract this summer, and according to the latest reports, he could be headed to Italy.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli are interested in taking Origi on a free transfer.

The striker has struggled with injury this season, but he is likely to have a good few options this summer.

Gomez battle

Reds centre-back Joe Gomez is being linked with a move away from the club ahead of this summer.

The signing of Ibrahima Konate has reduced Gomez’s opportunities, and Aston Villa have been heavily linked.

But according to The Athletic, Newcastle United have now entered the race, with the newly cash-rich Magpies expected to be bold in the market this summer.
