Liverpool’s expected starting line-up against Arsenal - with seven changes made for Carabao Cup semi-final

Liverpool face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-final tonight and here is Jurgen Klopp’s predicted XI.

Liverpool bid to take a step closer to Wembley when they welcome Arsenal to Anfield in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg tonight (19.45).

The Reds are looking to reach their first domestic cup final since 2016 - which was in the same competition when beaten by Manchester City on penalties.

The Liverpool bos handed a rest to several of his players, while there was a suspected Covid-19 outbreak in the camp - although several tests flagged up as false positives.

Meanwhile, the Reds have to cope without wing wizards Mo Salah and Sadio Mane against the Gunners.

The pair are currently at the African Cup of Nations, along with Naby Keita.

It will be interesting how Klopp sets up his team against Arsenal, having cruised to a 4-0 win when the pair met in the Premier League in November.

Here’s how we think Liverpool will line-up.
