Liverpool’s expected starting XI vs Newcastle - with THREE changes made from Aston Villa win

Jurgen Klopp could look to tinker with his side against the lowly Magpies.

Liverpool aim to move back within a point of Premier League leaders Manchester City when they welcome Newcastle to Anfield this evening (20.00).

The Reds have been in imperious form and won their past seven matches in all competitions after edging past Aston Villa 1-0 at the weekend.

Jurgen Klopp’s men, who sit second in the table, will certainly spell blood against the Magpies.

Eddie Howe’s arrival has failed to spark an upturn in form, with Newcastle languishing 19th in the table and were thrashed 4-0 by Leicester last time out.

Liverpool won’t take anything for granted and know they need to be at their absolute best to deliver three points.

But with the busy festive period around the corner, Klopp could be tempted to make several changes to his starting line-up and give some of his players a rest.

Here is how we think that the Reds will line-up against Newcastle tonight.
